Fragile as they might look, these birds are very durable. Made of either porcelain or stoneware, they are high or medium fired and sit anywhere you can put a small nail that will fit the hole in their bottom. People love to put a whole flock side by side on fences, garden walls, etc. each measures about 3 X 2 inches.
